Any resident of High Falls and the surrounding area is welcome to join. We meet at 6 pm on the first Wednesday of every month a the High Falls Café. For more information about the Civic Association and the events planned for the coming year please send us an Email.

Winter Festival 2012 may not happen due to the very mild winter
A Winter Social featuring ice skating (frozen pond permittting), a warm and toasty bonfire, cider, and s'mores. This event will take place at the Horwitz Pond which is located on the corner of Mohonk Rd & Canal Rd, just up the hill from the center of High Falls. The event is free, however a suggested donation of $5.00 would be welcome.
Crazy Hat Bingo 2012: April 14th at the Marbletown Community Center ...on Rt 209 in Stone Ridge...across from the Mobil Station/Key Bank/Leggett Road.

This gala event attracts the best animal companions from all over Ulster County, who vie for prizes for looks, charm, behavior, and a host of other categories. This annual event not only honors our faithful animal friends, but it also provides education about feeding and caring for pets, as well as how to adopt animals. This event will be held right in the heart of High Falls. Please note: This is NOT an event to bring pets for adoption. High Falls Fair Day 2012: July 7th...Details to be posted as they become available
High Falls Fair Day - an annual celebration of small town America...the entire hamlet will be buzzing from morning to evening,There will be a pie-eating contest, art & crafts, kid's games, and more. The Community Church will hold their annual Chicken Barbecue and the Civic Association and local restaurants will again have a "Taste of High Falls". There will be live music all day in the parking lot of the High Falls Café. The D&H Canal Historical Society will have free tours of the Five Locks Walk and there will be a High Falls history booth with photos of the hamlet in times past. Local vendors will set up along Second Street and there will be a flea market at the D&H Canal Society Flea Market (Grady Park). New this year is an antique appraisal event a la "Antiques Roadshow".

Holiday Tree Lighting 2012...No date yet...we'll let you know
Join us for this holiday classic featuring carols, hot soup, and a visit from Santa. We will gather at 5:30 and when Santa arrives we will light the tree and sing some carols. Bring an unwrapped toy for the Fire Department's toy drive. Hot chocolate and cookies will follow the event at the High Falls Community Church. More info for Treelighting 2011
