High Falls Civic Association

This Bingo fame with a fashion-forward twist will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 7 pm at the Marbletown Community Center on Rt 209 across from the Mobil station at Leggett Rd. Admission is $20 ($10 for seniors) and BYOB is welcome. Food and soft drinks will be served as part of your admission price.

Since alcohol will be on the premises, this event is limited to people 21-and-over. Proceeds will support the cultural programs of the Civic Association, including this summer's High Falls Fair Day and High Falls Pet Show.

Advance registrations are strongly recommended since space is limited. Reserve your spot no later than March 22nd by e-mailing info@highfallscivic.org or by calling 845-687-8981. Include the name of your attendees and a phone number for confirmation.

Crazy Hat Bingo will feature a variety of Bingo games plus the Crazy Hat contest. A panel of experts will select winners in the following categories: Most environmentally friendly, most stylish, most humorous, and judge's choice. Prizes will be awarded to the top four hat winners, as well as to Bingo game winners.

This year's distinguished judges are: Saturday Night Live veteran and Tony Award winner, Denny Dillon; local fashion plate and chapeau expert, Diva Haase; and acclaimed actor Mary Louise Wilson, 2007 Tony Award winner for the hit musical, "Grey Gardens."

In past years, Crazy Hat Bingo has attracted bon vivants and fashionistas from as far away as Manhattan. The previous Crazy Hat Bingo games at the D&H Canal Museum chapel and the High Falls Firehouse were both sold-out affairs. This year's event is expected to draw an equally enthusiastic crowd.
